Dividend Income Update January

Each month I will publish my dividend income. I will mainly do this for staying self motivated and to give you the readers the chance to follow my journey from the beginning on. The dividend income in the first couple of years will be on a very low level but investing in dividend stocks is all about the long term. I am very sure that in 5 years from now I will get my first rewards for the patience and focus on my goals.

Again time for another dividend income update. The year started slowly as January is not one of the biggest dividend income months. But it is nice to see the increase compared to the last year.

My total dividend income in January was 39.18 EUR that is an increase of 11% compared to January 2016. That increase does come from changes in the exchange rate and of course dividend increases.

Overview monthly dividend income 2017

My average monthly dividend income in 2016 was at  58.86 EUR and for 2017 I am already having an average forward monthly dividend income of 92.72 EUR. So there is still a lot of work to do to cross the 100 EUR per month but I am getting closer and closer and somehow I am having the feeling my snowball starts to get bigger and bigger.
