Portfolio Update December

Another month has passed on my dividend income journey and I want to give you a short update on my portfolio in August 2016. Currently the portfolio has already reached a size of 39 389.71 EUR. The portfolio contains of 28 companies so far.

In December I added the following companies to my portfolio:

  • IB Anbev: 17 shares at a price of 96.85 EUR
  • UNIQA: 120 shares at a price of 6.93 EUR

So as you can see in December I invested in 2 additional companies to my portfolio :).

Overview Portfolio

I also calculated my overall performance of my portfolio since January 2016, including dividends after tax and of course considering the investments. For the dividend investor the performance is not so important but it is still nice to see that you are not doing so bad :).  The year end performance was really good, which is mainly coming from the Trump rally and the strong USD, nevertheless my mix of European and American stocks were better than the 3 indexes Dow Jones, S&P 500 and DAX.

The detailed positions of my portfolio can be found here.

How was your development of the portfolio or any other thoughts about my portfolio?

  1. Fantastic. An 11% return is very good in this economy. If you could bump that up a little and continue that growth for years you would be laughing as 11% compound interest will soon add up. How exciting for you. Well done.
