Portfolio Update January 2018

It is already 2018 and the first month is soon over. Unfortunately I did not the time to post a lot in the past weeks, but as you can imagine the first month of the in the finance sector is always one of the busiest. Currently the portfolio has already reached a size of 59 450.72 EUR. The portfolio contains of 31 companies and three ETF’s so far.

Investments

I did not take any investments in past weeks, as I firstly did my first investment in the crypto market and secondly I do not see any reasonable opportunity out. The prices are crazy high and honestly I am hoping for a little correction in the near future. In the meantime I will stay on the sideline, increasing my cash position and watching for opportunities

I am still invested 31 companies which is already a lot, and I still have a couple of companies on my watch list :).

Overview Portfolio

Development Portfolio 2015 – 2018

As you can see I managed it that my portfolio is still growing on monthly basis although I sold 5 of my positions (the red highlighted ones).

Currently my full year dividend income is 1 553.81 EUR. This is a little less than before and is mainly caused by the weak USD. But all in all I am very happy with the full year dividend income at this stage. Nevertheless I hoping to reach the 2 000 EUR by the end of the year.

Keep on investing guys!!

How was your development of the portfolio or any other thoughts about my portfolio?

  1. Hi Andreas,

To be totally honest, I think sometimes it’s a good thing to keep one’s cool. Especially when markets are showing signs of overheating like they are now. So, don’t worry that you took a bit easier lately.

I’m already excited if you’ll make it to your dividend income goal of €2,000 per year. USD weakness could rain on our parade here. But at least, that way US stocks are getting a bit cheaper for us in the Eurozone.
