Portfolio Update May 2019

Now as it is already May 2019 I want to give you a quick update of my independence fund. Currently the portfolio has reached a size of 70 789.06 EUR orĀ  79 574.39 USD. The portfolio contains of 32 companies and four ETF’s so far.

End of April my portfolio was like probably most of the others really performing well, but somehow Mr. Trump decided to tweet again and since the all time high I almost lost 2 500 EUR in one week. Nevertheless I am quite happy with the performance this year. Since my last update Qualcomm was the best performer, after the agreement they made with Apple. Besides that I changed two positions. I sold all of my Century Link stocks, reason is quite simple they have cut their dividend, so no reason to keep that company anymore. At the same time I finally managed to buy some stocks of WBA :).

Overview Portfolio

Sector Diversification

Coming to my sector diversification, well the main part of portfolio consists of ETF’s, which is significant change compared to the last year. My highest single sector is Beverage and Food which is not such surprise as it more or less similar to other Dividend Investors.

Dividend Income

Currently my full year dividend income is 2 340.21 EUR or 2 639.76 USD. My next goal is to cross the 2 400 EUR mark, which means an average monthly dividend income of 200 EUR. That would be another milestone for me. In total my goal is to reach a projected dividend of 2 750 EUR until the end of the year.

How was your development of the portfolio or any other thoughts about my portfolio?

Disclosure: I do not recommend any decision to the reader or any user, please consult your own research. Thank you for your understanding!

  1. Congrats on adding WBA to your portfolio!

WBA is also on top of my watchlist. I regularly sell $50 puts. Let’s see how long it’s going to take until WBA will make it to my portfolio, too.
