Hello everyone, as I wrote in my article about General Mills a couple of days ago I am seeing a potential buy in this stock as soon as the price will be about 58.00 USD. Last Friday the price was very close to that and I finally bought 25 shares of GIS.

In the last couple of months General Mills experienced a decent drop from its peak of 72.46 USD. It is now almost on the level from 1 year ago. What makes it even better I had General Mills on my radar since a while, and right now it is really difficult to find fairly valued stocks.

After all I bought 25 shares at a price of 59.41 USD, this makes it a yield of 3.23%. It will add 48.00 USD to my annual dividend income, considering a dividend of 1.92 USD.

My new dividend Income
Before taxes my forward full year dividend income is now at 1 622.22 EUR with a yield on costs of 3.94% and after taxes it is at 1 169.19 EUR with a yield on costs of 2.84%. That is an average of 97.43 EUR per month. So I am not far away anymore to reach my fist little step of having an average of 100 EUR in dividend income per month :).

My goal until the end of 2017 is to have a dividend income of 1 400 EUR after tax.

Please be aware this might vary considering the changes in the exchange rate USD to EUR.

What do you think about GIS? Do you also have it in your Portfolio?
